Faith is blessed to have a Community Nurse, Brenda Cowan, BSN, RN, and a dedicated Health Ministry Committee serving under the Congregational Care Committee of the Board of Deacons. Working alongside the Individual Needs Committee, the HMC seeks to serve our congregation’s body, mind and spiritual health needs through a variety of programs representing the interests and needs of the congregation.
Are you experiencing grief or know someone who is? We have a program, using the valued Stephens Minister’s “Journey Through Grief” series. These four paperbacks are hand- delivered at defined times during the first year of grief to provide comfort, support and hope. Referrals for other resources can also be offered during these individual visits.
Need a wheelchair, cane or crutches? Our Medical Supply Lending Closet houses a host of medical supplies that are free to use upon request.
Are you worried about your blood pressure? Blood Pressure Screening is available upon request. Medical grade equipment is used by licensed medical professionals and all results are held in strict confidence.
Are you worried about your home blood pressure equipment? Our health professionals are happy to check out your equipment when you bring it in.
