Richie Thompson, Office Manager

A proud Florence native and Huntsville transplant, Richie found his calling in faith and education early in life. After college, he served honorably in the U.S. Navy under the call signs "Fatboy and ThunderDragon" before moving to Huntsville in 2010. He completed his degrees in Criminal Justice (NW Shoals Community College) and Secondary Education at Faulkner University, driven by a passion for teaching.

Richie is a devoted father to his two greatest joys. His 10-year-old son, Ahmir "MEERKAT" Christian, is an outstanding young basketball player and a huge Naruto fan. His daughter, Madelyn "MADDOG" Dina, just turned one and loves to charm her big brother and debating with her father. A self-professed Auburn superfan, Richie balances work and family life by prioritizing time with his kids, nieces, and nephews, enjoying football and baseball, and making the most of every opportunity for a good nap!
