Dr. Michael Bowe, Pastor

Michael Bowe is the fifth pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church, where he serves with passion, and a deep love for Jesus. A lifelong recipient of God’s grace, Michael’s ministry is rooted in the belief that God’s love can transform any life—because it transformed his. His messages are grace-filled, hope-driven, and speak plainly to everyday people through a conversational and down-to-earth preaching style.
Michael answered the call to ministry at a young age. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Amridge University (Montgomery, AL), a Master of Divinity from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA), and a Doctor of Ministry from Memphis Theological Seminary (Memphis, TN). He is also the author of Getting Out: A Restorative Approach to Prison Ministry and Holy Disruptions: An Advent Devotional for a Restless Church.
Michael is married to the love of his life, Tammy, and together they share the joy (and occasional chaos) of raising four children—Reanna, Christian, Tyler, and Elijah—along with their two beloved dogs, Porkchop and Harley.
He has pastored churches in Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Whether on Sunday morning or throughout the week, Michael brings joy and enthusiasm to ministry. He loves this church deeply and feels called by God to shepherd Faith’s journey forward.
When not preaching or pastoring, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, officiating football and MMA events, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He finds God’s presence in both the ordinary and the unexpected.
