Dr. Michael Bowe, Pastor
Michael is excited to be Faith Presbyterian's Fifth Pastor. He loves Jesus and depends on God's love and grace daily. It is that love and grace that permeates his ministry and messages. Michael was called to ministry at a young age. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Amridge University in Montgomery, AL, his Master of Divinity from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and his Doctor of Ministry from Memphis Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN. Michael is married to the love of his life, Tammy and they share four kids: Reanna, Christian, Tyler, and Elijah. They also have 2 dogs: Porkchop and Harley
He has served churches in Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama. His service goes beyond the church. Michael has worked as a general manager leading a staff of upwards of 14 people. He worked for Hisway, Inc. (a men’s drug and alcohol recovery center) as a logistics manager and assisted in teaching the men weekly.
Michael is the author of Getting Out: A Restorative Approach to Prison Ministry.
Michael serves the church with enthusiasm and excitement. His conversational preaching style helps make faith easy to understand and relatable. More importantly than anything, Michael loves Jesus and he loves the church and knows God has called him to serve Faith Presbyterian Church
as Pastor.
